MWM convention demands APC to vote for army operation against terrorists

DSC 8034Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has demanded of the participants of the All Parties Conference to be held on Monday that they should press the government to order army operation to eliminate the terrorists.

“Should the government fails to decide elimination of the terrorists, the rulers will be deemed abettors of the terrorists,” he said speaking at Defence of Motherland Convention at Parade Ground Islamabad on Sunday.

Thousands of the supporters of the MWM belonging to almost every nook and cranny of the country attended the convention in which they paid homage to martyr Allama Arif Hussaini declaring him one of the great martyrs of Pakistan. They also eulogized the sacrifices of Allama Hussaini, martyrs who were awarded Nishan-e-Haider and all those who embraced martyrdom due to terrorism in all over Pakistan. He also saluted the martyr journalists and urged that journalists should be given their legitimate rights.

Allama Jafari said that Pakistani Shia Muslims are on the frontline in defensive war of Pakistani nation against the terrorists. He said that thousands of Shiites were martyred due to terrorism but not a single representative of Shia Muslims has been invited at the Monday APC.

“Why the PMLN government and its allies have not yet taken any action against the Punjabi Taliban. If you fail to devise anti-terrorists policy at Monday’s APC, you will be considered their abettors,” he asserted.

The MWM chief offered that if a weakened government cannot liquidate the terrorists then the rulers should countenance their elimination through us because only 313 men from the Shiites are enough to thwart the menace of terrorism.

“The U.S.-led global imperialism in connivance with the Saudi monarchy is using the terrorists as their proxies across the world, let alone Syria,” he maintained citing the financial, logistic and military aid to the terrorists from some countries.
He referred to the fact that anti-Syria alliance had not condemned the use of chemical weapons against Iraqi civilians and Iranians for more than two years because of their imperialistic interests. On the other hand, he cited, Syrian government has not used chemical weapons.

“Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has said on record that Iran informed the U.S. administration through Swiss Embassy in Tehran in December 2012 that the anti-Bashaar al Assad terrorists used chemical weapons. Ignoring the facts and ground reality, U.S.-led alliance of 7 countries has planned war on Syria that is unjust and against international law,” he said.

Allama Nasir Jafari announced Pakistani nation’s strong support to the Syrian government and people and Egyptian nation. He announced that countrywide protest will be staged under the aegis of the MWM on Friday to express solidarity with the oppressed nations of Syria and Egypt.

In the resolutions adopted at the MWM convention, the leading Shia party vowed to defend Pakistan and Pakistani nation and counter the enemies plots aimed at sectarian hatred and terrorism. The U.S.-led alliance was warned to desist from aggression on Syria.
