Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri has assured Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari that the problems being faced by Zaireen (pilgrims) will be resolved soon. He also assured him of an inquiry into the complaints of bribe being received by security officials from Pakistani Shia Zaireen.
These assurances were given by CM Balochistan when Allama Jafari met him at the CM’s Guest House. MW’s MPA Agha Syed Mohammad Raza and former speaker Balochistan Assembly Jan Mohammad Jamali were also present.
Nawab Sanaullah Zehri told the MWM’s chief that he would visit Taftan border along with Agha Raza shortly. He issued orders to speed up work on Pakistan House that was being constructed near border with Iran on the recommendation of Agha Raza. He said an ambulance service would also be launched for Zaireen on the border.
He said due to security threats, Zaireen’s buses travel between Taftan and Quetta in security convoys and on MWM’s demand, security convoys would be increased and two to four more pilgrims’ convoys would travel between Quetta and Taftan during Moharram and Safar.
