MWM says police and rangers haven’t targeted Yazidi terrorists so far

IMG 5464Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, deputy secretary general of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Sindh chapter, has said that genocide of Shiites continued unabated due to inaction of the police, rangers and intelligence agencies against the Yazidi terrorists of outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba.

“Targeted operation by police and rangers has not yet targeted the outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba/outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, that had assassinated 7 innocent Shia Muslims since October 2 in Karachi alone,” said Allama Taqvi, speaking at a press conference here on Friday. Allama Deedar Jalbani and Hassan Hashmi of the MWM were also present.

The MWM’s provincial deputy secretary general further said that outlawed Sipah-e-Sahaba and outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi have renamed them and they are offshoots of the outlawed Taliban. He said that 19 Shiites were martyred since the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had visited Karachi and ordered intensified targeted operation with more powerful rangers.

“Government has decided to hold parleys with the mercenaries of Taliban and under that policy relief is being given to the terrorists of Taliban’s offshoots in Pakistan and this is one of many reasons that they have not been touched during targeted operation in Karachi,” he said.

He asserted that law abiding and peaceful Shiites are murdered for the only reason that they are followers of Shia Islam and outlawed outfits’ Yazidi terrorists have been publicly claiming responsibility for genocide of Shia Muslims.

“Shia police officers have also been assassinated by these terrorists and their abettors but not a single terrorist has been arrested. Those arrested in the past have not been hanged to death because the PMLN government is likely to give amnesty to them that is against the Pakistan’s Constitutional and Islamic laws,” he said.

MWM’s leader reiterated the party’s demand that a military operation be launched to eliminate the terrorists without any delay. He demanded that innocent Shiites should not be implicated in false cases and those held should be released. He urged media to side with the oppressed Shiites and condemn the terrorists.

He said that the MWM would hold a “Greatness of Wilayat Conference” in Karachi to express its public strength and convey its message of peace, love and tolerance.
