Sahibzada Hamid Raza, chief of Sunni Ittehad Council, has expressed solidarity with Shia Muslims and their latest demand for arrest of the killers of Sahiwal-based Shia notables Dr Khalid Butt and Dr Qasim.
He reiterated his support to the ongoing protest being observed by Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen against the targeted murders of aforesaid Shia notables of Sahiwal.
Talking to the office bearers of his party at the house of SIC’s media secretary Rao Haseeb, he also criticized the government for toeing the line of enemies of Islam.
“US President Donald Trump has begun another Crusade against the Islamic world by his unjust and biased racial and anti-Islam policy,” he said, adding that the unity of the Opposition parties is a must to make Pakistan invincible.
He said that SIC was preparing to contest Elections next year. He said that PMLN government failed to deliver and people were fed up with the ruling clique. He said people were praying the government’s ouster.
