Lahore High Court has ordered the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore to produce Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, deputy secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, in the court on Wednesday, November 8.
Ali Abbas, brother of Nasir Shirazi, has filed a petition in the LHC to seek release of Nasir Shirazi. He has accused Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah of ordering kidnapping of his brother.
Justice Sardar Naseem held the first hearing of this petition and had ordered that Shirazi must be produced in court on Monday hearing but police failed to do so. In his absence on Monday, Justice Qazi Amin heard the case and ordered Nasir Shirazi must be produced at all cost on Wednesday.
Nasir Shirazi had filed a petition to seek disqualification Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah over his statement against a respectable judge because of his inquiry report regarding the Lahore Model Town carnage that has irked Rana Sana and Punjab government.
