Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, chief of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, has said that terrorism in the country would end within days if the 5 of the condemned terrorists are hanged publicly.
“The fear of capital punishment will scare the terrorists away from terrorism and government should scare them through hanging 5 of the condemned terrorists daily,” he said speaking at a press conference on chehlum of deceased Shams Abbas Naqvi, a local leader of his party.
Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi further said that talks with the TTP terrorists should not violate the Constitution of Pakistan. No unconstitutional mechanism and nothing unconstitutional is allowed.
“If the rulers engage in anything unconstitutional in the name of talks, that will question the constitutionality of the government itself therefore government must beware of the consequences of everything it wants to do in the name of the talks,” chief of Shia Ulema Council said.
He said that everything should be made public in this regard and nothing should remain hidden from Pakistani nation.
