International Islamic Unity Conference that was held in Islamabad stressed in its final joint communiqué that universal Islamic system should be brought forward to replace the obsolete capitalism that has pushed the world to crisis.
Sahibzada Abul Khair Zubair, head of the Milli Yakjehti Council that hosted the programme, presided over the Ittehad-e-Ummat Conference. Iranian religious scholars Allama Nasir Maqali Shirazi and Allama Alizadeh Mousavi participated as special guest speakers. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Siraj ul Haq, Liaquat Baloch, Fareed Piracha, Professor Ibrahim, Deobandi scholars Qari Haneef Jallandhari, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed and Abdul Ghafoor Haideri of the JUIF, Jamaat ud Dawa’s Hafiz Mohammad Saeed and other Salafi-Wahhabi-Ahl-e-Hadees leaders such as Ibtisam Ilahi Zaheer, Zubair Ahmed Zaheer and Aakif Saeed, former army general Hameed Gul and many others spoke there.
They stressed on unity of Muslims in all spheres of life. They urged the Muslim rulers to bury their differences and join hands against the common enemies of Islam and Muslims. They said that true message of Islam should be introduced to the world people so that true image of Islam and Muslims that was tarnished by terrorists and fanatics could be portrayed.
They said that Palestine and Kashmir were longstanding issues of Muslims and these two burning issues should be resolved forthwith. They said that Rohingya Muslims were being massacred in Myanmar (Burma). They said that Muslims were suffering in Bangladesh and Egypt. They said that foreign enemies have made lives of people hell in Syria, Iraq and other parts of Islamic world. They also expressed support for people of Bahrain.
They said that Islamic movements should be put on right track and they must not be derailed because they play effective role in introducing Islamic ideology’s success to the world. They asked the Muslim regimes to establish global union on the pattern of United Nations and European Union to play more active and leading role in the world politics.
