Fazalur Rehman-led Deobandi party JUIF has planned to either field Masroor Jhangvi as MMA candidate to contest elections from Jhang constituency or support him if his father’s banned and renamed party ASWJ owns him as their contender and this pro-takfiri line has annoyed three component parties of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA).
Masroor Jhangvi originally hails from notorious Deobandi takfiri terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba, the mother of all terrorism in Pakistan, founded by his father Haq Nawaz Jhangvi in 1980s. The group renamed itself many a times and now known as ASWJ and Rah-e-Haq Party.
Despite ban on his terrorist takfiri group, Masroor was allowed to contest by-election to Punjab Assembly from Jhang and facilitated to win. Then, under Saudi-facilitated plot, JUIF chief Fazalur Rehman embraced him in his party. Fazal also leads religio-political parties alliance MMA.
Now, Islami Tehreek Pakistan, Jamaat-e-Islami and JUP-Noorani are trying to field a moderate, pro-peace and patriot candidate such as Syed Abida Hussain or Sheikh Waqas Akram, or any other contestant from the Jhang constituency, instead of a notorious terrorist group’s ringleader Masroor Jhangvi.
JUIF seems to have reached an understanding with the banned ASWJ’s ringleaders since the takfiri group also originated from Fazal’s JUI.
