Pakistan People’s Party has expelled one of its senior officials and former minister Haji Muzaffar Shujra from the party after he joined hands with banned takfiri Deobandi terrorist outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba.
Karachi chapter president of the PPP said in a tweet that the party’s federal council member Muzaffar Shujra who also remained minister in Sindh cabinet in the past was expelled.
Banned outfit people said Shujra’s son studied at Deobandi seminary in Jamia Farooqis.
Ghani further said that the party issued Show Cause Notice to 2 of candidates for getting support of ASWJ against party policy in Orangi Town constituency in Karachi namely Jameel Zia (NA-251) and Agha Zahir Shah (PS-119).
Shujra filed nomination papers as independent candidate and later withdrew expressing solidarity with Aurangzeb Farooqi, the notorious ringleader of banned Deobandi takfiri outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba aka ASWJ and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
