Shia Muslims, the adorers of Imam Hussain (AS) and Martyrs of Karbala, turned out largely to participate in Muharram azadari processions in Dera Ismail Khan, despite threats from terrorists.
They are azadars (mourners) of Martyrs of Karbala and they renew their pledge and allegiance of loyalty to Imam Hussain (AS). They vowed they would continue to adore Great Martyrs of Karbala and their leader Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) who is the apostle of God.
Takfiri terrorists of banned Deobandi militant outfits have been killing Shia Muslims in Dera Ismail Khan, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province but terrorists failed to scare Shia Muslims who continue to practice Islam of Imam Hussain (AS). Imam Hussain (AS)-led Martyrs of Karbala still remain source of inspiration for Shia Muslims across the world who continue to keep azadari alive for around a millennium and a half.
