Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government has assured the allied Shia party Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen that the issues relating to Gilgit-Baltistan will be resolved and nobody will be allowed to grab even an inch of the sacred land of Kotli Imam Hussain in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The government also assured to sort out the problems being faced by Shia pilgrims (Zaireen).
Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur gave these assurances in a meeting with MWM secretary general Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari at MWM Islamabad Secretariat where the minister visited.
Gandapur said that a hotel would be built in Dera Ismail Khan to facilitate the Shia Zaireen (pilgrims) so that Zaireen from far flung areas of the province could stay there.
He said PTI government was working for empowerment of people of Gilgit-Baltistan. He said it was decided that an economic zone would be established there and the government was considering establishment of another special economic zone in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said that tourism sector would also be focused and the government would work on mines and mineral development there. He said that investors would be invited for national and foreign investment in the G-B.
The minister Gandapur assured that the PTI government would work with MWM for the betterment of Gilgit-Baltistan.
