Biased Sanghar police chief asks DC to deny Khipro Chehlum procession permission

Pro-takfiris Senior Superintendent of Police of district Sanghar has recommended to the Deputy Commissioner not to issue permission for the Chehlum azadari procession in Khipro that will be taken out to commemorate the martyrdoms of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions.

The Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Nisar Memon had sought a report from the SSP Sanghar in this regard but the biased SSP Sanghar Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqui who has links with banned Deobandi takfiri militant outfit ASWJ, the mother wing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, has recommended him to refuse permission for Chehlum mourning procession in Khipro.
Three years ago, when Shia Muslims brought out mourning procession of Chehlum, banned terrorist outfit ASWJ/Lashkar-e-Jhangvi had attacked them leaving many of them injured. The biased police pushed the azadars (mourners) to Imam Bargah Asgharia instead of taking action against the banned militant outfits’ terrorists in Khipro. Since then, police has been taking side of mother wing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (ASWJ) against peaceful azadars.
Shia Muslims have vowed to take out the Chehlum procession at all cost. They demanded of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Pakistan People’s Party leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to take action against biased police officers, including SSP Sanghar if they don’t provide security to Shia Muslims and try to block Chehlum procession.
They warned that all Shia Muslims would stage sit-in across Sindh province if permission to Khipro Chehlum procession is denied or banned ASWJ fanatics are not taken to task for their threats and attacks on peaceful azadars.
