Leaders of prominent Shia organization unanimously demanded of the government to order registration of an FIR of the attack on Hussaini Mission Masjid and Imam Bargah, ensure judicial inquiry against the SHO Police Nadeem Baig who remained involved in abetting the attack in collusion with the attackers.Addressing the joint press conference at Pak Muharram Hall, Jaffaria Alliance leader Allama Abbas Kumaili, Shia Action Committee leader Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, MWM leader Maulana Munawar Naqvi, Shia Ulema Council leader Allama Ali Mohammad, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Tanzeem-e-Aza secretary Salman Mujtaba, Shabar Reza, ISO and IO office bearers demanded of the government to close down the religious seminaries that patronize and promote such acts of sabotage and terrorism that Shia Muslims experienced in Karachi and elsewhere particularly since Muharram to date.
They termed that the government and administration have failed to maintain the law and order situation of the metropolis
They also warned for grave consequences if culprits and their patronizers were not arrested saying that they filed the petition of the registration of FIR against the culprits in SHC.
They also stress upon to check the records of illegal and forged Seminaries who malign the soft image of Islam saying that the procession of 25th Muharram has been observed from last 40 years.
They said that after informing to concern officers that some culprits were trying to create panic among the devotees of Hussain by making unlawful activities to sabotage the peace and harmony during the Mourn.
They said that they donâ€™t like that the peaceful environment of the area to be converted into bloodshed and violence.They added that such incident is a conspiracy to create sectarianviolence in the city
They alleged that on 1st Muharram culprits of banned outfit in broughtday light killed two scouts at Numaish but no adequate measures weretaking to provide protection to the mourners.
They disclosed that when culprits indiscriminately opened fire and throw bricks on mourners on 20th Muharram inured half dozen, later
mourners capture one fleeing culprits and handed over to police who later identified as â€œAhmed Qamarâ€ Â and after eight hours Â his tortured body was found Â form abandoned place.
They demanded to conduct commission against the police biasness and prob the case.
At that time prominent leader of Shia sect including Mirza Yusuf, Abbas Kumali,Allama Baqar Zaidi,Shabar Raza and Maulana Munawar Naqvi
and other were also present at that time.
