Pakistan reiterates support to full implementation of Iran nuclear deal. Foreign Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammad Faisal stated Pakistan government position on Thursday.
In his weekly media briefing in Islamabad, Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesman said that Pakistan supports settlement of all issues through dialogue.
Most importantly, he said Pakistan has always offered its services to settle disputes through dialogue anywhere in the world.
Again, Dr. Mohammad Faisal said that Pakistan has grave concerns over rapidly developing tense situation in the region.
Also, he said that Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif is due to arrive in Islamabad today evening. Iranian Foreign Minister will have an important meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday.
Furthermore, the spokesman said Pakistan supports dialogue to fully implement international agreements and dialogue to resolve issues.
Pakistan has called upon all states to fully implement Iran nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA.
Relevant to add that the Iranian nuclear deal includes a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action aka JCPOA.
However, President Trump has unilaetrally withdrawn US from that international deal. Due to his unlateral decision and beacuse of US renews sanctions, Iran complains non-implementation of the deal.
Therefore, other parties to the deal are urging both sides to avoid tension on the issue. They stick to the deal but Iran seeks benefits of the deal in substance instead of words.
