Allama Raja Nasir proposes anti takfiri legislation in meeting with Minister for Religious Affairs Noor ul Haq Qadri.
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen secretary general told the minister that government can rid Pakistan of terrorism by so doing. He said the government needs to get anti-takfirism legislation passed through Parliament to eliminate terrorism.
MWM leaders Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi and Mohsin Shehryar also accompanied him in the meeting in Islamabad.

Allama Raja Nasir said that takfirism gave birth to terrorism in Pakistan. He noted that takfirism produced intolerance and hated in society.
Furthermore, he vowed that MWM remains committed to peace and inter-sectarian harmony and unity.
On the other hand, Minister for Religious Affair Noorul Haq Qadri said that the government opposed religious intolerance and working to promote tolerance.
He urged that we all have to make efforts to save our generations from religious intolerance. He said government would take steps to facilitate Zaireen.
