Spokesman for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command Anwar Raja announced Sunday that a new batch of food supplies has entered Yarmouk Camp in Damascus, in addition to evacuating a number of persons who were suffered from terrorists for several months.
In a statement to SANA, Raja said that the evacuation process took place in cooperation with the Syria Arab Red Crescent’s staff who admitted the sick people to a number of hospitals.
He added that the second batch of aid entered to the camp to implement the peaceful popular initiative to alleviate the suffering of the people trapped in the camp by the armed terrorist groups.
Raja pointed out that the Syrian government offered all logistic and security facilitations to help deliver the second batch of aid to the abducted citizens of al-Yarmouk.
A week ago, the armed terrorist groups targeted an UNRWA aid convoy and prevented it from entering the camp.
The terrorists continue targeting any attempt to deliver aid to the camp.
