Protest held in New York City over Shia Genocide

At least 200 people participated in the protest against Shia Genocide in Pakistan, organized in New York City, the Capital city of USA in front of the Pakistan Consulate.

The protesters were chanting slogans such as “Stop Shia Genocide”, “Down with Taliban”, “Down with

Saudi Arabia”, “Down with Sipah-e-Sahaba”, “Down with ISI”, “Down with Media Silence”, the protesters demanded the United Nations to pay urgent attention to the state-sponsored persecution and target killing of Shia Muslims and other oppressed communities of Pakistan.

They also chanted slogans against Pakistani media, both Urdu and English press, which has maintained silence on Shia genocide or misrepresents institutional massacre of Shia Muslims as a routine Sunni-Shia sectarian violence.

Up to 22 September 2012, 1775 Shiite Muslims have been killed in wave of Shia Genocide in Pakistan since PPP, MQM, ANP, PML-N Govt after General Election 2008, while over 20,000 Shiite Muslims have been killed since 1947 on account of Shia Genocide in Pakistan.

@NYCShiaProtest a campaign with a tag #StopKillingSHIAS was marked to spread the awareness regarding ongoing Shia Genocide in Pakistan and other regions of the world.

The Government of Pakistan, Law enforcement agencies, Judiciary have been 100% failed to protect Shiite Muslims in Pakistan and not a single terrorist has been arrested on account of Shia Genocide in Pakistan.
